Good heavens! When did I last write up a post? Minus the magazine coverage and one-shots of course. And anything anime related. Just came back from a short trip, hence the empty days on the blog. I’m so happy to have internet again and air-conditioning!

I have no idea why this story is called Orange Marmalade, I probably just don’t get it or I missed the part where they actually explained but I’m sure it has some reason/meaning behind it. In any case, this webcomic is great and it has a vampire as it’s protagonist! Bleh to vampires? Have no fear!

One of my best discoveries last month – and it got onto the cover of Betsufure 03/2011! How exciting!

If you’re an avid supporter of the teacher x student relationship, this may be something to check out. My range in this genre isn’t that wide since I usually stray away from them, but this is the first one I have come to love! 

The main appeal of Kinkyori Renai is easily the leading lady – she’s a tsundere and she just goes against all the common aspects of the normal shoujo heroine. She isn’t part of that generation of strong, determined heroines that we’ve all grown to support and love – she’s in her own league all together! Her love interest reflects as her opposite in personality and he’s quite the frivolous(my more professional way of saying asshole) man but he gets likable points after a while.

Remember how I shared some artwork of Bambi no Tegami by Takano Ichigo? Well, here I present to you a work that I love!

This is currently one of my favourites, it has romance and laughter in store and  the artwork is 110% my cup of tea, just look at the illustration above.  Takano Ichigo makes her art-work unique by making the teeth of her characters quite sharp. The male characters also have a more shonen quality to it, rendering them more like studs than what’s commonly seen as ‘bishounen studs.’ The art of the female characters are pretty too, they’re more cute & pretty than beautiful and they have this child-like quality which I find unique.
